she said "how`d you get into detailing cars?" after I explained my story she pulls out her phone and 20 seconds later shows me this quote:

might have to keep her around a little while :)
 
The Navy relieved the captain, other senior officers, and the crew on watch on the USS Fitzgerald due to the collision with a cargo ship. The report claimed they lost situational awareness. The captain was asleep in his cabin and trapped briefly after the collision. The images show the fragility of these small workhorse ships. There was one note in the report where a sailor was asleep after the collision and had to be thrown in the water to wake the sailor. The crew was complemented on the actions that saved the ship.

Perhaps interesting to some but the "As Seen on TV" label will make me walk the other way every time. Well, except for the Schticky. Love the Schticky. :)
 
My oldest daughter who is at college just texted me asking me to keep the dogs inside during the solar eclipse.
What do you guys think? Will Fido stand around looking at the sun, or is this just another SNAKES/USED NEEDLES/RAT POISON/THERMONUCLEAR DEVICE FOUND IN BALL PIT!!!! type story.

We`re not taking any chances...I mean, how would you prevent a domestic animal from looking at the sun if [whatever] prompted it to do so? "My dog`s blind because I didn`t keep him inside during the eclipse in `17"...not gonna be that guy, no matter how improbable.

Somebody, something, somewhere, somehow, is gonna end up with compromised vision from this event. Never fails....
 
You know you have a problem when you`re watching the news and they`re talking about potential flood weather coming and all you think about is... I really need to wash my truck so I can check out the water behavior

I do not think non-human animals are thinking " hey what`s wrong with the sun" so look up at it. They will obviously notice it is darker but do not know why.

However, humans are another story.

had to scratch the autopia ordering itch after I ran my spray and wipe bone dry and saw the new si02 wash from mckees

order placed last night and already got shipping confirmation, awesome!
 
Man, things have gotten stupid. Just did a job for a very nice older couple. Had her turn her computer on and on their desktop wallpaper they had a picture of what was obviously them on vacation or something with their kids and grandkids taking a goofy picture with prop guns in front of a confederate flag....they both at different times, embarrassed, felt the need to explain to me that "they aren`t like that.....its just a goofy picture"
