I like my watches, but I don`t rmuch like wearing one. Since I`ve retired, I go watchless often enough that it runs down pretty often. But it doesn`t bother me as much as wearing a ring does, I hardly *ever* have my wedding band on.

Yeah the wedding band stays off. I saw too many films about guys maintaining military vehicles getting their finger getting ripped off or the ring getting crushed on their finger. Still gives me chills. I only wear mine when I go out to dinner with my wife.

Good memory! Sigh...I do still like those, but no, I decided to, uhm..quit accumulating...stuff like that. Basically just woke up with a different perspective one day, and it`s stuck.

Eh, I haven`t even wound the Tudor since forever (and no, I don`t use a winder), just like the Sub too much to wear anything else.

I`d probably only wear the Reverso with formal wear anyhow as the Sub is simply MY WATCH in every possible respect. Even my shirtmaker has quit bugging me about wearing it with his stuff, almost sounds like he appreciates it when the subject comes up, though I suspect that at heart he still thinks it`s inappropriate.

Hey, that`s similar to my situation with it...it initially bugged me during, uhm..Tacticool Activities. Actually impacted my performance at a few tasks even though others don`t seem to have that problem. [Shoot], I can`t even drive my best with it on.

Guys who employ Fighting Rings must have MUCH better-padded fingers than I do, but then I guess most people do.

Same here, and also to funerals and meetings. Part of "dressing up".

That`s what I say, and after saying it for so long I believe it myself

But eh, "these days" some [individuals] think that most anything goes with [most anything]...One mustn`t let oneself go, slippery slope there IMO. Heh heh, a gal pal I`ve known since forever just saw me in jeans for the first time (quick run to UPS right before dogschool) and she commented on it in amazement.

I pretty much have to wear them for certain activities (e.g., dogschool) lest I be, uhm...making an unnecessary statement. But I still don`t wear athletic shoes except for athletic activities.

Heh heh...and to think that for *years* I basically dressed like somebody right out of a Juvenile Delinquent flick!

first game tonight for the coed sand volleyball league we joined. I`m not awesome at volleyball by an means, but I can`t handle playing with people that will watch a ball drop without going after it or only moving/lunging for a ball only as far as they can lean without moving their feet. I don`t wanna be a jerk and run anyone over, but it drives me nuts. Gonna need to figure out how tone down the competitiveness a bit haha

I felt the mitts..and I think I also felt my car getting scratched from inside my garage at the same time, lol

edit: the only thing I get at the dollar tree is the travel containers to give stuff away with when I go to car meets

Well, that makes two of us But some people here like `em, enough so that I try to resist slamming the things all the time. Even bought some from GG because I felt that I was out of line being so opinionated about `em without first-hand experience. Heh heh, the take-home from that little experiment was that I`m gonna put more faith in my theorizing

well just to clarify, i do use the pb mitt and micro chenelle mitts from acc.
ive never had an issue with them. the poorboys micro mitts are grrat quality

i meant i wouldnt use the dollar tree one
