Awesome!! I've always wanted to ride one of those.

So I decided to wash my fleece jacket the other day with some of my other clothes. This is what greeted me when it was done and I opened the washer...

this happens to me all the time when I throw my bed sheets in with regular clothes. must be a thing with new washing machines

Same here, our HE washer twists/knots/etc. everything up. Can't wash truly dirty stuff effectively, the dirt ends up in the dryer. So anything that's truly *dirty* gets washed in the old-fashioned washer out in the garage.

I dont under stand I put my stuff in this hamper thing in the closet and they magically reappear in my closet in few days. Hmm must be a laundry elf taking care things?

and here I was happy to see my work PC go over 40. So much for that

(It *is* far better than what we used to have.....less than 5....FOR WORK!)

Boss: Jesus, why are you asleep at your desk?
Jesus: Sir, I'm not asleep. I'm mentally doing the settlement on this claim, while I wait for the internet to download the pics from the estimate

Boss: But you're eyes are closed!!!
Jesus: Thank you, Cap'n Obvious. Thank you for pointing that out to me.
Boss: JESUS!
Jesus: YES, CAPTAIN OBVIOUS, SIR?!?!

I am in sales (not automotive) but I am amazed the Car salespeople know so little about the products they are selling.

Its totally frustrating that I know more from my research before I walk into the showroom, and the few questions I have cannot be answered. Its been a week and I called 1x for my answers, and still no answer.

I am beginning to become a proponent of buying the car on the internet and just having service locations. The test drive would have to be out of the service locations.

most car salespeople aren't about product knowledge. more about reading the consumer and making a deal. every once in a while you can find that one person that knows product very well but they aren't good at being a salesperson

I took my 370Z into a Nissan dealer and had to remind them about correct air pressure and what type of oil was supposed to be used. The service people just kept saying "we don't get many of these in here" and they had one in the showroom. Don't expect anyone to know anything about your car, they just want to sell you something.

But they tell us they're "experts".

I couldn't agree more. They generally serve no other purpose for me other than being a pain in my backside. I do plenty of research before I step through the door. The only thing I need is someone to get me the keys so I can drive and look the car over, and direct me to the person that has final say on the sale price of the vehicle.

That's what the Subaru service dept. said about the manual in my nearly-new Outback when the clutch pedal was acting up (as in, "ya couldn't drive the car"- acting up). I kept *telling* them what the problem was and, after weeks of their [messing] around trying stuff that clearly wasn't the issue, they agreed to try my suggestiuon with the understanding that if that didn't solve the problem I'd pay for it. Solved the problem. Sold the car the next week. Should've learned my lesson but I bought a WRX a few years later...sold that one with the CEL still on after *it* spent more time in the shop than on the road..."we don't see too many WRX's".

I agree about clueless car salesmen. I guess they just don't take pride in their jobs. If you want to be the best car salesman, it would only make sense that you want to learn everything about the product or car you're selling.

Luckily most motorcycle dealership sales guys I've dealt with have shown me they take a lot of pride in their jobs. Even when I go for an oil change I'll end up looking at other motorcycles and usually end up learning something new.
