Random thoughts thread

Trying to lower the products etc i haul with me when mobile. Got a new client today, benz suv white.

Why do i have to bring 6 different lsp's, lol, when I know damn well it's getting EXP
 
This new client lives to the right of hole 7 on the course here...(dogleg left par4...Some guy hit the ball so badly that it hit the passenger side door on my truck off a bounce....barely missing the 4 elderly ladies outside watching me work (strange yeah i know but i got 3 new jobs)...

So this guy just laughs and high fives his buddies. and as they drove by (far from us) i yelled "you're just gonna drive away? Where is your dignity and sense of responsibility?..i hope you have yet to reproduce!"
He proceeded to flip me off...i lost it...i jogged onto the golf course while dialing the non emergency police number. I advised the police they need to send an officer ASAP to file a property damage/vandalism report.

They asked what happened and i advised i was pursuing the vandal on foot. They advised me not to approach him and i told them they better hurry.

I caught up to the guy who hit my truck and asked him if he was just going to drive away? "What if he hit a person? Who the hell raised you sir, anyone? You're liable for my damages. Driving away absolves you of nothing, sir....all you had to do was apologize but you lack any respect for other's property so you left me no choice."

He said to me "you shouldn't live on the golf course"..i said tell that to the police when they arrive. I don't live here, and I know the law. Called the pro shop and had the course marshal come out and hold the golfers so i could get the police to show and get a report for when i pursued this individual.

Report filed.

After the police left the guy offered me some $ to make it right...i took his cash and tore up the police report reference copy I was holding.

Pro shop knows me quite well, i used to be a member for 3 years until last year.
They gave me a coupon for 3 free rounds. And the head mgr just called my cell and left a vm apologizing for what happened...too bad that guy doesn't have the same morals. All i wanted was a driveby "hey im sorry are you all ok?"

There's dents all over my truck, luckily the truck was blocking the '15 mercades suv at the time...what a day.

Only crappy golfers use yellow golf balls anyways.
I collected 4 golf balls total today in 5 hrs at that back yard.
 
wow what a piece of work ... I would have grabbed one of his clubs and wrapped it around his head ... me no gentleman .. ask Ron
 
Lol sadly im 5'10" 155lbs...i didn't want an assault charge, or to get beat up myself lol ...i just wanted that 40-50yr old to man up...i know damn well the exact language of the ppwk they sign when entering that course..it states the gc is not liable for damage you may cause, YOU are.
 
Yeah its a 10 year old truck. Nothing fancy but i love it..its My property, i have paid for everything on that truck plus the truck itself by detailing $ only....if I hit it with something, that's different.

That guy, literally was HORRIBLE to hit the ball where he did..i have been golfing for 18 years, I am no pro but that guy was terrible...had less class than golf skill, though.
 
I try and convince my wife for years I want to move somewhere warmer and she says she doesn't want to leave. Now all of a sudden we're talking about should we move to S. Carolina, Texas or Florida in a few years..Maybe I can finally push her to the point of giving in ha.

i'll take the heat before the aftermath of snow any day. I LOVE cold weather, but snow just gets in the way (especially in the detailing world) and can be inconvenient more times than not. Heat is killer down here in TX but at least you can come and go as you please, of course i need to prepare myself mentally and take a few deep breaths before opening my front door any time i go out.
 
Walked outside to take out the trash...ended up rw my frontier..now i have this urge to start some new product experiment on it
