Snow foaming indoors is not a crime.

That roof has only seen 303 Fabric Protector since 2010. It`s the only stuff I would use. Beads water like crazy. Tried Ragg Top years ago & thought it sucked.

I agree!!! We have the exact same car - ours is a 2006 M Roadster - Ragg Top was NOT good, at all. We actually got a free soft top care kit from BMW, and against my better judgment, used their stuff - it was actually very good! I did three applications, letting each of them sit out in the sun to cure, and it worked fantastically well!

Yeah, the Raggtopp stuff didn`t do me any good either. I`ve been using 303 for years now. I just got a bottle of CarPro Fabric Protectant and I guess I`m going to give it a try. That Autopian mentality, always looking for something better. Going to get me in trouble one day.

Use Sonus Motor and Trim Kote and spray it directly into the grill. Let it dry and clean up excess overspray on the paint with detail spray. Much easier that way lol.

Problem was that I had CarPro PERL still on there turning the whole grill white (like it did with my other trim) had to APC it off with a toothbrush.

Here`s a picture of how PERL acted on my trim (grill basically looked the same):

Thanks for the tip, and I got some Sonus Motor Kote in my arsenal :)

Normally I just use a foam art brush to apply the dressing.

Applied CarPro Dlux to this piece back late last month (waiting to see how it does before writing a review):

Awesome pics.

The DLux looks great and will last a long while.

The problem, IME, with the product is it oxidizes on horizontal surfaces over time and is almost 100% impossible to completely remove. People say you can remove DLux with IPA or APC must be using a different product than I am.

So, at this point, you are basically stuck using more DLux. The problem then becomes the second application lasts significantly less time - then the oxidation comes back.

To be honest, this experience is why I`m not using a coating my paint.

My favorite so far. I also did that jeep behind the BMW, and the BMW you see in the bottom right corner.

Not a picture, but a video. I have to bring some trim pieces back to life and get a photo shoot done before I do my full write up, but this was a quick "in progress" video correcting the paint on my Superduty after I bought it a couple months ago:
