The entire job was done with my Makita rotary. I used 105/wool and 3m Ultrafina/3m finishing pad to finish.
That's the machine I'm looking at. Gorgeous work, my friend. :bigups :bigups That Benz needed some serious lovin'.
Thanks, I really like my Makita. Especially coming from a pig, Dewalt.
:wow: I was starting to like you too. :bonk:
 What's wrong with Dewalt? I happen to love mine.
:gotcha:
I used 105 for the first time today on a black Bentley Coupe. The 105 made short work out of removing imperfections that were giving me fits with everything I had tried previously. I don't know why it takes me so long to try something new that other people are raving about.:hmmm:
Cloudy day but my handy Brinkman halogen gun showed me how well it turned out. The part that amazed me most was how aggressive it is but yet finishes way better than any other compound I have tried.:wow:
At least this old dog is willing to try new tricks, eventually.
What pad were you using it with Troy? You would be amazed at the cut and finish that you get using it with a white pad. The SMAT used in these polishes/compounds is very interesting. I'm curious to see what they come up with next. I hear they have a couple more "game changers" in the pipeline.
Nice recovery Billy! Do you think you could add some more pics next time? :gotcha: J/K
Thanks, I really like my Makita. Especially coming from a pig, Dewalt.

A 9227C? That's the machine I'm looking into.
