Presidential Detailed: 2001 Mercedes Benz SLK230 KBRM :)

I used 105 for the first time today on a black Bentley Coupe. The 105 made short work out of removing imperfections that were giving me fits with everything I had tried previously. I don't know why it takes me so long to try something new that other people are raving about.:hmmm:

Cloudy day but my handy Brinkman halogen gun showed me how well it turned out. The part that amazed me most was how aggressive it is but yet finishes way better than any other compound I have tried.:wow:

At least this old dog is willing to try new tricks, eventually.

Told you so! :D As I was telling you at DF, 105 really is a game changer. To have the ability to cut that quick, that aggressively and finish as well as it does, it seems impossible. 205 is good, and works really well with a DA, but it's not a game changer like 105.

What pad were you using it with Troy? You would be amazed at the cut and finish that you get using it with a white pad. The SMAT used in these polishes/compounds is very interesting. I'm curious to see what they come up with next. I hear they have a couple more "game changers" in the pipeline.

Nice recovery Billy! Do you think you could add some more pics next time? :gotcha: J/K

I'm using the Four Star 6.5 foam pads mostly these days. I used the orange one on the Bentley and that was it. I was happy enough with the finish that I went straight to using UPP afterward.

I'm betting a one-step cleaner wax with SMAT is in the cards. If it isn't, it should be.
