Powerball jackpot hits close to $800 million

Not me, my family is greedy as hell and they've always got their hands out no matter what. If a family member gets a bonus at work they're standing there waiting for their cut
 
I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday about what we would do if either of us won the euro millions,its only 75 million on Tuesday,and he was saying what would you do about the begging letters,i said I would keep sending them.
 
I heard on the radio that Canadians can play too and if we win it's tax-free :)

But being a dual Citizen I'd probably still have to pay tax on my winnings, it's too complicated...

All lottery wins over here are tax free,thats the euro millions,the irish lotto and the UK lotto and you don't have to go public either,having said that there have been several winners that have gone public after winning big,one in Ireland Delores Mc Namara she won 115 million euros and after going public was tortured she, wishes that she never went public and then theres the couple in the UK last year that won 180 million euros they simply vanished to get away from the press the press were camped outside their house,i for one would not want that attention nor would I want that kind of money,its more trouble than its worth.

AGREE! Enough to pay off all debts and have some pocket money. I played this morning, figuring the booths are going to be nuts this week. I noticed it bringing out a lot of one time players that never played before.
 
If you guys see me change my forum name to Oprah, you'll know I won. Then you should see a noticeable increase in the size and frequency of giveaways :)

I pad flipped picture, it's view from the porch on our room in Aruba. Get to go here once a year then 51 straight weeks of work almost all are 6 day weeks even work all the holidays except christmas.
 
I'd simply bank it for a year and live normal
Then I'd buy a couple more 70 72 buicks Skylark/gs
Perhaps buy a decent house and a building for detailing..them bank remainder and get paid doing my hobby as it isn't work to me like this foundry I'm currently working
 
I won $12 on Saturdays drawing (paid $6 for tickets) and turned that into 6 more Powerball tickets.

If I change my username to Oprah, you'll know I won :)
