Post your favorite or best tire dressing!

Optibond diluted 1:1 is my favorite

I've tried:

Megs hotshine (hate it)

PBs Bold n bright (looks good, as much shine initially as the diluted optibond but quickly loses its sheen, which some may like)

CG silk shine (same deal as BnB but less shine)

FK 108 (similiar to BnB)

All of them can be diluted except the hot shine to your liking but imo optibond is the longest lasting imo most economical.

Me 2 haha its also pretty expensive and does about four wheels then its gone, and the fumes will kill yah haha, those are the only two Ive used other than black magic which is the worst product :( I want to use zainos and optibond when I get more money to try them out, Ive got 8 cans of more shine on my shelf to detail cars with right now when there gone I might buy optibond first, is it any good?

Which of the tire dressings are water-based? The only one I know of off the top of my head is Hyperdressing.

1. Tuff Shine

2. OptiBond

3. FS Ult Tire Gel

I've used quite a few over the years and have switched to water based lately. All I've tried so far seem ok but don't last any time at all during wet times, I guess it's just the nature of the beast.

I did buy Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel recently and applied it with one of those curved foam applicators and it does look great, the best I've tried over the last many months. Not too matt, not too shiny either. Really quite perfect for me.

I can't comment on sling or durability because the garage queen is still in the garage and not licenced for the summer yet. The tires sure do look good though.

Clear and oily = solvent based

White and milky = water based

Isn't there a tire gel by Armor All that is in a squeeze bottle that is White & Thick/Oily?

Easy way to tell is, move it around. Does it move like water (water based) or slow like gel(solvent based.)
