Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax Blue... expired?

I think this could create a whole new marketing opportunity:
Poorboys "Deep Skin Cleanser"- Nattys Blue
Poorboys "Exfoliating Paste"- Nattys Red
Poorboys "Anti Itch Shampoo"- Liquid Nattys

If you could just put somewhere on the fake label that it's best to store in the mini fridge in the basement, that would help keep questions to a minimum :D

Good ideas .. I'll have Dwayne work on them ;)

Mine looked like that too but I used a foam applicator and just worked it all back in until it turned smooth again. I'm not sure if applying heat to change a solid to a liquid would change the consistency of the product or affect it in any way. I know other members have done that before so I'm guessing it doesn't affect it?

I just did it in the microwave. High power (1200watts) for 4mins.

Kitchen smells bubblegum fresh :)

that look right :)

unfortunately it didn't work out for some reason. it is harder than before.
Wouldn't have guessed that would have been your result.

didn't see that coming ... did you move it or cover it while it was drying? ... did you stir it while liquid to make sure the bottom was also liquid?

crap, u know what i did tho, I thought the bottom felt like it was melting so I dunked the bottom in water for a bit. could that have done it?

yup .. just leave it on the counter and walk away .. put it on a piece of card board from an old box ... give it another shot :D

Well I have to say I didnt expect that.

I'd try the double boiler option, if you are just going to throw it away anyways.
I wouldn't be surprised if the indirect heat might make a difference.
Try stirring it a bit after you pour it, then just let it sit.

:o I guess 7 years is just too long :(

Yikes, I'd be sorely disappointed if my paste waxes went bad after 7 years...or 17 for that matter. As a non-Pro, I can't remember ever going through a tin of wax in just seven years, even when I had a lot of vehicles in regular rotation.
