Very new to polishing to remove swirl marks and I have been experimenting with a friends Makita.
My question is, how do I prevent splatter ..... I know to smear the polish around then start w a slow rpm to distribute it before I speed it up some... but once that is done and Im polishing away, if i get near an edge of say the hood or a door handle, the pad splatters some sort of dust, or the polish from the pad and it looks like my truck was just snowed on...
is there a way to avoid this? sorry if that question was difficult to understand.
Thanks,
Derek
