I must mention a story:
When I was doing work for the limo company, I did a bus they had there that had a large stripe on the lower panel. It was about 2" long. Prior to my being there working, they had anyone, even the boss doing buffing. They had been suprised that I was buffing @ 1500 rpm, and was suprised that I ran at a "low" speed. Im guessing they ran somewere in the high 2k or low 3k range. needless to say there was burns all over the stripes and big chunks missing etc.
Lesson: If your going to buff at outragously high, and uneeded speeds, dont buff over pinstriping.
