Hello all- it's been a while since I have been on here, and I have a new screen name (my old one was Xtreme V6).
Anyways, my g/f just got a '96 Camaro that was not very well kept. The glass is about the worse I have ever seen. Yesterday, I started off by:
1)I cleaned the glass with my mixture of water/alcohol/vinegar
2)Then straight to vinegar
3)I then clayed
4)I used Autoglym Glass Polish by hand
5)I then got creative and used Meguiar's #2 by hand
6)I then pulled out the DeWalt 849 and a white pad along with more of the Meguiar's #2. This seemed to work *pretty* good. I did this 3 times to each section.
I am still not satisfied
. I just found my pad kit that came with the glass polishing kit from CMA- so I will try Autoglym out again. A friend is going to let me try his Zaino #12. Does anybody have anymore suggestions?
