Which is better squeaky clean or slick clean? I have been trying out some different glass cleaners. The best results have been with Comma glass clean and Autoglym glass polish. As far as I can tell both clean to the same degree, the biggest difference is the Comma gives a squeaky sound when buffing whereas the Autoglym is much slicker – almost like wax slickness. Is one way better or does anybody have any thoughts?

I'm a car show junkie and usually show 25-30 shows a season.

I have found most cars look their best with polished glass. I use Zaino Glass Polish, reminds me alot of the old glass wax. It goes on like a white liquid polish, dries to a haze and you buff it off, I sometimes use a da buffer, then follow it up with Z6 or your favorite shine enhancer. If I figure out how to post pix I'll upload one of the ole cars in the winner's circle.

You ask for it soooo, here is a pix of the 59 Ford Droptop winning at the Chevy Show at the Chevy Dealership, I'm the good lookin devil with the big grin standing beside the show winner. When I started on this car all I heard were cat calls and the guys at the shop laughing, the car was real junk. It was about an 18 month restoration. I'll post the pix of the other baby later.

Thanks for the help with posting pictures, they should have you write the rest of the instructions for the forum. I posted the Ford without problem, but it will just not take the picture of the Vette, even reduced to the size of a dime! Go figure. I'll try to post it again later, cause right now when it says strike any key, I would like to use a hammer@#$%^&*

If anyone has an ongoing issues with an order, please post it here.

I can't guarantee when your issue will be addressed as I do not work directly for PAC.

No one and I mean no one (except for mods or employees of PAC) is allowed to come into this thread and make comments to anyone about the issues they are having with an order. If you are not having issues with an order, do not post in this thread.

I also expect those who are having issues with their order/s to state their case professionally. Do not reply to others that are having issues.

If anyone and I do mean anyone breaks any of the above rules they will be banned!

EDIT: Since I do not work for PAC, I can't answer any order questions. So sending me a PM will not get you an answer.
 
I ordered a flex rotary and a pcxp on June 24. I received and email on Monday saying that i needed to pay shipping and it would be $18. Nothing was said about anything not being in stock. So thinking I was getting two buffers I accepted the $18 shipping charge.

I get home and have a box waiting for me from PAC. Open it up and all that is in it is a PCXP. So I paid $130 shipped for a PCXP, that's more than they cost normally!!!!!! This is insane to me that I was sent an email about shipping but not that the flex wasn't in stock! I wouldn't have bought the PCXP if the flex wasn't available since i didn't really need it, I just wanted to get to the free shipping mark which was $300 at the time of my order. I emailed Michael,and haven't heard back after several days, with a company going out of business I just don't see what they can do.
 
Order 201129

On 6/24 I placed two orders. One of them arrived. The other (Order 201129) has not shown up on my bank statement yet. This order contained classic flat pads, hydro pads, M20, and BFWD. I just simply want to know if this order was ever processed. If not and the items are currently out of stock, I am ok. And if you help others with more pressing issues first, I am ok with that too. Thank you for your time.

I apologize for placing multiple orders and clogging the system, but your system issues combined with an issue I was having made placing any order difficult. I ordered what I could when the system permitted.

Order 201648

I placed my order on 6/28. The following day I remembered I forgot to add a couple of small items and have attempted several times to reach someone at PAC, to see about adding said items to my order. I've left several messages and have even posted here in the forum for someone to please call me about adding those items. I know that everyone is swamped at the moment, but a call back at least would be greatly appreciated.
 
I placed an order at PAC on June 24th for a little less than $100.

I got an email, on June 27th, that said I was incorrectly not charged shipping and it gave me the choice of adding the shipping charge or canceling the order.

I responded, via email, on June 29th to go ahead with the order and it is fine to charge for shipping.

Since then ? nothing. I have not been charged and have not heard anything.

Am I correct in assuming the order will never be filled and was probably lost in the chaos of PAC's tecnology troubles and the resulting manual order shuffle?

Or is somebody still working at PAC filling orders?

Heard back from you OKi'ing the shipping on the 29th. With the back-log of shipments going out, yours is being processed now. Should ship today. Sorry for the delay. It's been a little crazy!
 
I had considered it a loss. Thank you so much for making this thread. I placed an order and it was invoiced no shipping charge. I only needed 50 dollars worth of stuff but found 300$ would get me free shipping so I ran up the bill. I got the free shipping and placed the order. I never received an email or any correspondence. My box came and in the box was a new invoice which showed shipping had been charged without my consent. I do not have the order number as I'm not at home. When I get home tomorrow night I will add the order number to this post. Thank you very much and God Bless.
I also didn't receive my Opticoat but that is understandable and not a complaint. However if you have any of course I would like it.
 
Placed an order on June 27th (order # 201573) and have not received yet or an email saying it has been shipped. Not bitching cause I know you guys have a lot of "S" on your plate right now. Just posting it out there.
 
Order no. 201146:

  • I placed an order on Friday, 24 June, and was not charged any shipping.
  • On the following Monday, 27 June, I received an email from Michael stating that they had, incorrectly, not charged shipping, and gave me the option to cancel the order or include the additional shipping charge to my invoice.
  • I sent a reply on Tuesday, 28 June, telling them to go ahead and charge the shipping, and continue with the order.
  • I got a read receipt notice for my email on the same day
  • After reading of various items not being shipped due to them being out of stock, and given that I had received no word as to whether my order had been shipped (and my card had not yet been charged), on Saturday, 2 July, I sent a second email to Michael, stating that they could charge shipping if they were able to fulfill the entire order; otherwise, if any of the items were out of stock, to just cancel the order.
  • As of today, Tuesday, 5 July, I have not received any word as to whether my order has been shipped or not. My card has not yet been charged, so I am presuming that nothing has been shipped out.

I'm sure the guys at PAC have a lot going on right now - just hoping to get word sometime during the week as to whether I should be expecting anything. Thanks.

According to UPS, this was delivered on Friday, the 1st. Admin

Not sure how this going to get me my merchandise, but I'll post here regardless. Ordered on the 06/25 for a total of 77.40. Received an email confirming order (same day) and a charge was placed on my card. Have not received a tracking # nor been notified if any items were not in stock.

I'll I'm asking is if you charged it, then at least return my calls/e-mails to notify me of delivery....

I get it...your busy... but a 30 second e-mail shouldn't be that time consuming!

I placed an order in June. As of today I do not have an email confirmation of shipment.

I sent emails to Phil and customer service with no response. I just want to know if the order will not ship that is ok just let me know if it is cancelled???

I just want to know if order 201385 is cancelled? I don't want surprises on my CC.

I order on the 24th with order no 201186. It's one of my biggest order with PAC$900. I tried to email michael few days back but has got no response. I wonder what happened with my order?

My bad, the email address you sent the email to isn't used anymore and I forgot it was tied to my paypal account. Go ahead and send the BFWD and just refund me for the Megs compound. Thanks!
