IMHO, it depends on each vehicle's level of brake dust and the amount of effort you are willing to put into maintenance of your wheels. If your car produces average or below average amounts of brake dust, almost any high quality paint sealant will do a good job protecting the wheels. The same is true if you carefully wash your sealed wheels with a mild car wash soap and keep the layer of sealant fresh. However, when faced with heavy brake dust issues (like German brakes) or wheels that will be neglected for a while, the dedicated sealant seems to make life easier.Dalton said:Hmmm I use EX-P as my wheel sealant and it works fine for me. Is this dedicated sealant better? I have alloy non clear coated.
Poorboy said:I'm doing a side by side comparison and EX-P is almost as good ..a little less slick but if I had to choose one product right now EX-P is more versitile, and thanks again for showing me the EX-P on windows![]()
