PB's wheel sealer - New Product Test

Hmmm I use EX-P as my wheel sealant and it works fine for me. Is this dedicated sealant better? I have alloy non clear coated.

I'm doing a side by side comparison and EX-P is almost as good ..a little less slick but if I had to choose one product right now EX-P is more versitile, and thanks again for showing me the EX-P on windows;)

IMHO, it depends on each vehicle's level of brake dust and the amount of effort you are willing to put into maintenance of your wheels. If your car produces average or below average amounts of brake dust, almost any high quality paint sealant will do a good job protecting the wheels. The same is true if you carefully wash your sealed wheels with a mild car wash soap and keep the layer of sealant fresh. However, when faced with heavy brake dust issues (like German brakes) or wheels that will be neglected for a while, the dedicated sealant seems to make life easier.

NP I love the EX-P on my windows. The water just flies off and no wiper chatter. I hope dsome of the people I met at the PB Detailing day took my advise and tried it. Also, I find that with EX-P on my wheels all I need to do is sone soapy water or S&W and the dust comes right off. Every 2 months I strip them and give a deep cleaning and re-apply. Has worked well for me.

I think Poorboy's Natural Look is Cherry scented...and it isn't as shiny as BnB. I'm gonna pick up some of that stuff from Autogeek this week. We can test it out soon.

BUT I WANT STRAWBERRY ! :ticked

I just recently used AIO on 97 VW wheels for the first time, and have done several washes since. I first blast the wheels with hose, and noticed most of the dirt and dust come off, I then used a dedicated sheepskin wash mitt for wheels, and give them a gentles wash, no scrubbing necessary. Wheels look spotless! Over a month now and still seem to wash easy. I am very interested to see how the PB's wheel sealer would compare. I really have not tried any other products on wheels, because both cars I owned had hubcaps. But since getting into detailing, I have only tried AIO.
