Paranormal Activity - I am never sleeping again

I'm looking to spend about $100 on a wet/dry vacum. I've been searching Home Depot's website this morning and have come up with these two:

Rigid 16 gallon 6.5 horsepower wet/dry vac

http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDU...earchResults.jsp&MID=9876&N=2984+3966&pos=n24

or

Shop-Vac 18 gallon 6.5 horsepower wet/dry vac

http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDU...earchResults.jsp&MID=9876&N=2984+3966&pos=n24

which would you guys recommend or if there are any others out there that are better for around the same price what would they be?

I have one of these, IMO they are better for doing cars because they're more portable. My dad has a 16 gallon Ridgid vac, but its too big IMO, so I just went ahead and picked this one up, I like it a lot better.

your link brings me to the generic power tools page and not a specific product btw...

I was just thinking these two because they have the highest horsepower motor out of the wet/dry vacs. I wanna use this as a cheap man's carpet extractor so I want the most suction that I can get. I'm currently thinking of the rigid because it can also convert to a blower for getting the water out of cracks and such after drying. if anyone has any other suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, here's the part #- WD4050, its a Ridgid model. Its 4 gal and 5hp and very portable. Thats just my $0.02

a lot of people will recommend the rigid 4hp 5 gal model and i was goin to pick that up a while ago but they were out at home depot so i ran over to sears and found this craftsman http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&pid=00917776000. when i did a detail at my dads house a few months ago, i found out he has the rigid. well i tried the rigid and the suction power compared to my craftsman wasnt as strong as my craftsman. the craftsman has a thinner hose and has more suction power. basically, i am much more happy with mine than the rigid and its actually easier to carry

Interesting. I was debating between the two.

honestly, i've never tried a craftsman, but i just got a ridgid. i think anything more powerful will literally damage the carpet. i have the 11gallon 5 hp

agreed, perfect size for detailing with more than enough suction...

If you make the mistake of seeing this movie expect to never be able to sleep comfotably again.Sleep:scared::scared::scared: Just got back from seeing this movie and its pretty messed up.:scared::scared::scared:

And if you have kids, take them to see this movie instead of grounding them if they have done something wrong.

Sleep :scared:

what's that movie about???

The film is about a young couple with some kind of spirit in their house.

I saw it and thought it was really lame and unscary! What a total ripoff of the Blair Witch Project. It probably cost them $500 to make the whole film. The last 5 minutes were the only thing that was worth seeing. If there was a thumbs down smiley I'd give this film more than 1!

Is it one of those with the "bouncing" camera?

I absolutely HATE that.

I think they ruined the 2nd and 3rd sequels to the Bourne Identity by making them look like cheap home video!

I thought the movie kinda sucked too. It wasnt as great as everybody made it to be. I was suppose to be like the scariest movies this year. I personally really didnt want to watch it cause I hate scary movies but I went anyways with my friends and I found myself laughing through out the entire movie.

I've heard it was like the "blair witch project"~~~~~~~~That movie was so lame, I remember getting up after less then 1/2 the way thru and telling the wife> "Come on honey, we're out" :driving:

Anyone remember that movie Cloverfield? Like one of the worst bouncing camera movies ever.

Paranormal activity= Blair Witch with ghosts

Would be better off watching the spoof TV show Paranormal State or Ghost Adventures.

Im with Nick here, I thought it was scary! I never saw the other movies with the same filming style and not having the music made it more intense. Now I agree there were some funny parts and to some people the fact that its not a huge "jump out of your seat" kind of scary film to me it was more to mess with your head from things you will hear at night in your house.

You go home and when you hear little things you are thinking "what was that!?"

Also, I think for something like this to really scare you, you actually cant go in "knowing" spirits and such dont exist or something like this would never happen. Thats when people start seeing the movie as funny rather than scary. Was worse for me having some haunted places here in my hometown of my own :D
