Other household uses for your Detailing supplies?

I use P21S Polishing Soap on my stainless steel kitchen sink and it works great. I use Flitz metal polish on my watches. And I use PakShak ww glass towels on all the mirrors and windows.

I use any poly polish just about on the marble sink in bathroo, and porcelain on toilet....

Use QD on the Frig, a high temp poly on the stove... some vinyl/rubber sprays are ok for wood, but make sure water-based...

The 6:1 Woolite solution has hundreds of uses around the house! Obviously keeping the leather chairs clean, also works for dusting and cleaning cell phones & computers used in the same manner as car interiors (spray on MF). I clean the whole bathroom with it--the tub/shower unit still beads, and last wax application was 3 months ago with Eagle One Wax As U Dry--not a long lasting product! Best of all, it does a great job keeping stainless steel appliances looking great!

I use Aquawax on my stainless steel appliances, makes it easy to wipe away finger print smudges.

Can anything be used on wooden floors?

I have prefinished wood floors all over. I usually use a MF "Quickie" mop, rinsed and well wrung out, with about 5 sprays of the Woolite solution on it. Yesterday I tried ONR instead, but with a cotton not MF Quickie. About the same results I'd say. Floors shine and do not come out slick using this method. Do not overdo the Woolite or it will streak.

I use QDs and plush MFs to clean delicate surfaces, from antiques and soft plastics to lacquered brass.

I also use Pinnacle's PCL for light cleaning of various surfaces and I've used 1Z MP on black lacquered furniture like the piano.

Cleaner waxes work well on metal office furniture like filing cabinets, topping with Collinite seems like overkill..

car waxes also work very well on good-looking laminated rifle/shotgun stocks. I've got a '69 Remington Wingmaster 870 factory short barrel 12-guage pump gun with a gorgeous and original stock which I often use Megs #26 on.

I don't have Aquawax but just got some OCW in. Works great on the stainless steel appliances.

Stoner's IG on all the windows in the house, obviously. Use the cheap MFs for this.

Micro Restore on the MF tablecloth. Goes in with the MF towels but the grimy ones get pre washed first.

I have used Scratch-X to "revive" several CDs and DVDs and video game discs. The kids like to just pull them from the players and leave them out. They get little scratches on the read surface the cause faults in the players. 15 minutes with a MF and scratchX by hand, and they work as good as new!
