Lecchilo, ease up dude. I absolutely didn't mean that at all! I actually did the same as you did with the "Hitachi", I had orders all over the place just to be told again and again that they weren't available after I had orders in for days to a week or so. Some orders were with people I have did a lot of business with in the past.
It wasn't there fault, they simply couldn't get the Hitachi and were told exactly what they passed along to us. When I say I got tired, my meaning was in getting a Hitachi, I literally called or emailed everyone on the Internet, they are not to be had at this point. Though some individuals have said they received theres from companies I had orders in a week or more before they did, go figure!
Anyway, I bought the Metabo, or I should say I ordered it from allprotools.com.
I probably won't even get it before next week. I ordered a 6" LC backing plate and a "foam wool pad (to try)" from Top of the line. Now you know my current history.
Please keep in mind that my experience is long on reading and short on experience. When I get the Metabo and get a chance to use it, it will be on some practicing materials like old hoods, fenders, tractors, anything I can get hold of. I have no dreams of being an over night Rotary prodigy, I just want to learn to do it right. So, don't, expect to see an immaculate resurrection of some mess any time soon. It just doesn't happen that way, Experience is everything.
