That must be the same porus garbage that BMW use in tiny amounts around my door handles as well! :wall I'm sure I'll end up buying some #21 before too long anyway, regardless of whether it stains trim or not.



One other question though - a lot of Meg's products are oil based, so is #21 going to have bonding issues when you use it over the top of products such as #82 and #80?

As I understand it all of Meguiars products are designed to work together and as such you should experience no bonding issues.

I like the durability of #21 the beading has a little to desire so right now I'm topping with Natty's Blue when I see the beading change in size I reapply Natty's.

All of Megs products can be used ontop or under eachother. That may be good, or that may be bad, depends on how you look at it, or what you want from a sealant.

It's still interesting to see that Meguiars still claim NXT as their most "protecting" wax though... while it seems like this 21 synthetic sealant should be blowing it out of the water considering what has been said about NXT's durability

I was hoping for something like SG but that goes on/off EASY. But from the sounds of it, it's not much better than NXT in terms of protection

depends on how you define durability-Megs doen't claim water beading as durability. The cosmetics of a product (looks) and an actual "wax" film being present are 2 totally different things as well. I remember a reply at MOL where Mike Phillips stated that NXT protected as long as Zaino even tho Zaino beaded water longer. FWIW

No, when #21 debuted, Mike Phillips definitively stated on MOL that NXT was still the best protecting, that 21 was targeted as more of a dealer/volume rotary-applied product. Whether that tune has changed now, I'm not sure. And of course, I can't find a quote.
