Opinions of Meg's M21

Anyone care to chime in about it.

I was told by a very good Meg's technical rep that its one of the best products Meg makes and that they got right. I was given a bottle to try. I got some the purple liquid accidentally on my hand and it took me at least three through washing to get it all off, theres still some feeling of residue left even after that a sign of good durability. He said 20 and 26 don't come close in terms of durability.

It's a pretty neat sealant in the sense that it combines the normal durability and slickness of a sealant with the depth you expect from a carnuaba. I really like the combination of shine. slickness, and durability from this product. I did a review of it over at MOL and have been very impressed with the continued appearance and slickness that it still has even through the heat of the summer. I am a bit biased towards Meg's though mainly because of the success i have had with their products and their availability in my area.

I know Joe (Superior Shine) absolutely loves it and I tend to trust his judgement. He turns out some stellar work. :)

Thats pretty much how it was described whenever I would read about it. If the newer version of Poorboy's EX w/ Carnuaba isn't to durable, this will be next on my "to try" list. I remember at the Poorboy's detailing day a member from DC had it on his black Dakota and I must say it did look pretty good, but then again lots of things look pretty good on black ;)

I really like this stuff I have tried it on Silver and red, it spreads a long way gives a look similer to NXT but and this is the big but......................

It lasts and lasts and lasts!

It has been on the wifemobile for 10 weeks now and still beads like crazy, car outside 24/7

Is this #21 synthetic sealant we're talking about here?

IME, it will blow EX or EX-P out of the water interms of durability. #21 is a fantastic sealant that looks great, is easy to apply/remove, and for me has shown great durability. I did a review of it here, I will try to find a link.

BTW, if you are looking for that "hyrophobic" sealant that beads like UPP or WG, this is not the sealant for you. #21 will sheet water away very quickly, but it does not have that "alergic" to water effect.....FWIW.

It's super long lasting and looks great.

My only caveat is that you have to buy it in half-gallons. Not only is it long lasting, but it's "super-spreadable"--saturate a pad and you can do a whole car. That. combined with the fact that it lasts so long (after 6 weeks it looks and acts like you just applied it) means that you'll have that half gallon for many, many years. So if you like to wax frequently you're just as well off with whatever you have, because you'll never get the real benefit of #21.

That said, if I was out of product I would get #21 and never look back.

You can buy a 12 oz. sampler bottle from Auto Detailing Solutions here. For those of you in NJ, PAL Automotive also sells in smaller bottles, not sure of the size.

This is #21 on the wifemobile after I think 10 weeks, beading but not the high, tight beads we would associate say with #16.

I really like this stuff as it has good looks. IMO WG and UPP still is a little deeper on dark colors, but #21 is close. I'm not sure on its durability as the longest I left it on was 8 weeks, but I did notice it was starting to deminish. I would have say that this stuff last longer than WG or UPP.
