Onr

That sounds like a great idea.. think i'll try that next time.

On dirty cars I've had great success in putting ONR in a pesticide sprayer and "presoaking" the car prior to the wash. Try it.

I've been thinking about buying a pesticide sprayer just for the sole purpose of pre-soaking the car with a stronger QD strength ONR and then followed by a normal ONR wash. The problem I have with this though is it defeats the time-saving purpose of ONR.

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble with removing bird bombs and/or pollen with a properly diluted ONR wash? Recently, I was disappointed with how many spots of pollen were left on the car because the ONR wash solution couldn't handle it. The next week I came back and did a conventional wash with Duragloss CWC and it just did a way better job of cleaning what was stuck to the paint, all without having to use barely any pressure or scrubbing.

Don't get me wrong, ONR has a place in my detailing product arsenal, but being that I live in mild weather, I currently have no water restrictions, and the fact that most of the cars I detail are kept outdoors 24/7, I still prefer conventional washes. I don't do this for a living, but I don't see how some of the professionals are getting by with using ONLY ONR. Yes, whatever it leaves behind on the paint makes it look better than what most conventional washes will do, but it's cleaning ability is far behind that of a decent shampoo.

I've not had any problems with removing bird bombs or other surface goodies with ONR. I encounter that a lot at work. Recently my daughter hung a bird feeder within a few feet of one of our cars. I use ONR to remove a ton off the car the next day after I moved the feeder lol. I have no water restrictions and use ONR. I've had to pressure wash off a few cars but haven't used shampoo on any since December. Well one day I started to use shampoo on a car, did one panel and poured it out. Just can't go back. I don't use the the 2gallon sprayer for presoaking but I do use it for wheels, wells, tires and sometimes to spray off bird bombs and clean a really dirty area.

What dilution ratio are you mixing your wash solution at to not encounter any single problem with bird bombs or pollen? The pollen I was having trouble with had sat on the car for maybe 2 weeks.
