Old School Autopian Check In !!!

Hello to you all still around reading daily thank you for your knowledge and experiences.I just found some pre voc pinnacle crystal mist and some meguiars medallion paint cleaner.
 
I think there needs to be an '01 or '02 in your join date to be an OG. ;) It is good to see so many familiar names still lurking on the board though. Things sure have changed a lot I. The industry since the old zaino/Kassel and souveran/blitz debates. I'm still proud to be an autopian and hope this site stays around long enough that my kids can be autopians too.
 
Found this place in 2008. At that time it was the only game online worth viewing. I believe there were 2 davids that were partners in the "business".
 
June, 2002 for me. My first "Ah Ha" experience was when I tried Quick & Easy Wash for the first time. I knew then I had found people that could teach me things I never even knew were possible.

QEW...now that is something you don't hear at all anymore. I do remember calling and driving all over Dallas trying to locate some.
 
Scott wax turned me on QEW ,Remember he did his polishing by hand then.The site was called autopiacarport.net I did not like flame wars especially this thread is useless with out picks
 
Hello all, Still browse and check in every now again. Although I can't keep my vehicles as spotless as I used to (live on a dirt road) When I do give them attention its done Autopian Style! Appreciate all I've learned here on the boards over the years.
 
06 Here. I still come in from time to time. I stopped coming on here as much as I used to, too much bickering now about stupid sh*t. Now I just sift through it all and read about new products and techniques, and to see some old screennames lol
 
Big lurker here...wanted to say thanks to MobileJay for detailing my car a few weeks ago. Hopefully we can schedule the other ones when time permits. :)
 
Joined in 05, that didn't seem that long ago. A Google search for best car wax got me here.

Never considered myself an "Old schooler" and never did find the best wax either.

I still check in often but rarely post anymore.
 
Been a member since sometime in 03. Used to detail my cars alot and had a side business going, but life got in the way. Havent done a paying detail in 3 or 4 years probably and stopped coming to the site until recently. A new vehicle renewed my interest in being obsessive so I stop in once in a while again. Amazing some of the names I recognize that are still around!
