welcome to the club. i couldn't spend anything on myself this Xmas :(

Maybe's it's God way of telling me I need to use up my current stash of products first.

lol i have no products, but yeah i didn't have the cash to spend anything on myself this Christmas-i DID get a pretty cool knife from my best friend tho :getdown

oh well, i actually don't mind so much, $250 is nothing compared to the satisfaction from loving on your best friends IMHO

So I'm out doing some last minute Christmas shopping today at the local Wal-Mart. I walked right into the endcap of the NXT kits. I opted for the single bottle of NXT 2.0 instead of the kit. Costs $14.98 here in San Angelo. I'm now kicking myself for not going for the kit! Great price, that's for sure. Anyway..........I'll be applying a layer of NXT 2.0 over a layer of DWG on Christmas morning. I'm looking forward to it.

Anyone think they'll be clearancing these kits out after Xmas like they normally do with most of the Xmas kits? That's gonna be a super hot deal

Its 50 degrees outside today so its time to give the car a wash. I have a couple layers of Z2 on it. Does NXT 2.0 have any type of cleaners in it that will remove the Z2? If it does, I'll pass on putting it on...just wondering.

This would be an excellent time to apply it to a small area and compare how it looks to Z2. If it looks better, do it all, if it doesn't skip it.

The Sears ad here in Dallas says they are clearancing all of their car care gift packs 50% off, normally $15 - $25. Says you can choose from ArmourAll 6-pc kit, Turtle Wax 5-pc kit, Meguiars 6-pc kit or Microfiber car care kit. The Meg's kit says it's the Gold Class Car care gift set. Not sure it's the NXT 2.0 set, but for less than $12.50, might be woth a shot for 5 bottles of Megs product.

Edit: Did a quick search, here is the Meg's kit

Meguiars Gold Class Car Care Kit

Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid Wax (473ml)

Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner (473ml)

Quik Detailer Mist and Wipe (473ml)

Quik Interior Detailer (16oz)

Application Pad

Might not be worth it unless you use those items

i just tried the nxt 2.0 on a blue 06 corolla and it was very fun and easy to work with.

wipe on, let it dry while i clean up my stuff, and wipe off. couldn't be more simple. Also the wax smells nice :)

i think i used too much at first but a little wax can go a long way :)

gonna put on a second coat soon.

Yeah, I tried the NXT Tech Wax 2.0 (say that ten times fast) a couple of days ago. It's been awhile since I used version 1, but this product seems pretty similar.

The 2.0 still has the same fruity aroma and is still easy to apply and remove. It seemed to leave a better gloss and reflection than version 1. I applied Z-AIO almost two months ago, so this might hamper my results.

'I ran into a whole bunch of these sets last night at Wal-Mart. I think I am going to go back today and buy one. If anybody would like one send me a PM and I will ship it to you for the price of the set + shipping.'

Just out of curiousity, are the sets priced lower after Christmas?

Put some NXT 2.0 on last night. Keep in mind my car has a few layers of Z2 on it, last one going on back in November.

NXT 2.0 went on easy, came back off even easier. Leaves a nice glow, but not those razor sharp reflections that Z2 is known for. This deffinatly has more of a carnuba look to it than Z2 and the older NXT.

If it stops sprinkling I'll roll the car out and snap a few pictures for you all. If it holds up better than the older NXT, I would probably say this is probably one of the best OTC products easily available.

Still sprinkling out. Just a dreary day, so these pictures are as good as I can do for now.2005 Mazda RX8 GTBrilliant Black with 39,000 Miles. Car is my dialy driver. Has about 4-5 layers of Z2-Pro, Z-CS, and Z8 under the NXT 2.0. Last polish was about a year ago with Z-PC and a Porter Cable. Car is probably 95% swirl/scrath free, was 100% perfect at that polish though. Process:All of my Zaino was at home 300 miles away, so this was a OTC detail..haha. -Washed with EO soap in that Mr. Clean soap gun and sheepskin mitt.-Blown off with air compressor and wiped down with UQD.-NXT 2.0 applied by hand.-45 minute wait then remove with a plush microfiber.-Inside Wiped down the interior with Megs Interior Detailer....Not bad stuff at all! -Leather seats wiped down with Gold Class Rich Leather.

Doesn't NXT contain cleaners that would strip off all those layers of Zaino under it? Ultimately, it wouldn't be any different that applying NXT over a freshly polished car no?

We were talking about that earlier. We know the original NXT did, but they were mild. I doubt the mild cleaners would take off multiple layers of Zaino, especially when I put it on by hand.

I went to the Anaheim Walmart near Disneyland that a member on here had posted about and there were still about 8 sets. I contemplated the purchase for awhile but in the end held back. I already have 3 bottles of the Quik Interior Detailer, a full bottle of NXT, an almost full bottle of low-gloss endurance gel, quite a bit of All Season Dressing, and more than enough AquaWax. As good as a deal it may be, it'll just be another $25 worth of products I'll probably never use up.

I have checked several auto parts stores and no onr has NXT 2.0 in stock. They give ya that deer in the headlights look when you ask too.
