NXT in Canada

I've been driving accross the border to get some NXT.



Costs about $30 canadian to get it over.



No duty as it's made in the USA, there is 15% tax if you declare of course then I have to pay 7% NY tax as well.



It's good stuff!
 
How do you get $30. Advance has it for less than $15.00 US and WalMart in the States is less than $14.00. Exchange is less than 40% so you're up to $22.00 on high end. Unless you're importing a case of it Customs won't bother you.
 
Here was my cost:



$14.88 for Tech wax

$6.99 for Booster Wax

----------------------------

$21.76 + 7% NY Tax

$23.30 * 1.35 for exchange

$31.43 cdn 15% tax

$36.14 cdn

$6 to cross bridge

$42.00



I understand if I only by 1 bottle they won't bother with me, but if I'm going to pay $6 to cross the bridge I have to make it worth my while. I bought 6 bottles. $100 worth, they made me pay $15 tax on it.



So comes out to $30 for the wax and $15 for the booster.



It would/ should be selling for $25 when it hits shelves. But $25+ 15% tax is going to be $28.75, almost $30.



The more bottles I get at once the better it gets as the bridge cost goes down :)
 
Don't know where you are in Canada but there's two stores in this area selling NXT. One is at $30. and one is higher.

I guess the good news is if you've got 6 bottles that will last you at least 6 years. Also the bridges here are $3.50 Canadian but that's splitting hairs.
 
Yeah, not sure why the bridge is so darn expensive here! :(



I sold all my bottles :P I have to go get more!
 
Well, I was looking for some DACP at the UAP NAPA store on 16th and look what I found.

I bought the last two bottles....one for me and one for yobwoc.

I phoned Dominion SureSeal directly and got them to ship me a bottle. They didn't charge me shipping but I did pay $31.00 for the bottle. Here's the kicker, the jury is still out on whether it was worth all that! I tried it out on my metallic black Mercedes after claying, #82 and #7 and I really don't see much difference from the last time I did it using GC. Plus NXT has a very perfumy smell I really don't like. Go figure.



Lordco did have some sample bottles and said that they were expecting their order any day (that was two weeks ago) but there price is apparently going to be over $30.

I did NXT on a Red Jetta over #82 and it came out great. Local Lordco said List was $30+ but will sell around $27.
 
Is that the cheapest price in Canada? It's too bad they couldn't get some #16, anyone know where I can get some in Canada? If not, I'm probably going to order from US and get a bottle of NXT and #16.

The cheapest I have found. Had an online buddy who drove over to the states and picked me up a bottle, after taxes, tolls etc it was more expensive and he had to spend 2 hours of his time to go get it.

Last week carcaresmart.com http://www.carcaresmart.com had NXT for sale at, I believe $27 but I just looked and they don't seem to have it any more. So I ordered a bottle of DACP and #34 Final Inspection instead. :bigups

I got #16 from Lordco but I think they are only in BC .. was less than $20. They had it on the shelf.

We are barely marking it up. We thought we would order a bunch while we were placing another order for Wolfgang Products. We are trying to fill the Gap until it hits the shelves (If it does) in Canada. Once that happens we will stop carrying it!
