We've used NXT on my husbands silver metallic and it seemed to buff off fine, however not on mine. Mine is jet black and it seems to have left a very fine layer that I can't buff off! I'm glad I only tested it out on my trunk! I know I put it on a little thicker than I should have. I waited about 20-25 minutes before I buffed it off. It came off fairly easy, but I can get my finger and make a line in my paint and you can see where I buffed with my mf. I used 3 or 4 trying to get it all off. Did I not wait long enough to buff it off? I can't imagine too much product causing this. On our silver car, maybe we just didn't see it. :nixweiss
Anyone have any idea or experience this? It must be something I'm doing because lots of people I read like it on their black.
I like how it hid some of the swirls.
So I'd like to keep using it for a little while. Durability isn't a big issue since they are in a garage 22.5 hours of the day.
Thanks!!
