NXT difficult to buff off??

I have a flat black miata, and I have to say NXT was one of the easiest to remove so far!! I've hd trouble with hazing / smearing with a couple of meg's waxes, but not NXT.

To me (a newbie remember) it sounds very much like too much product - try it with less, and if you're struggling to put it on thin try priming the foam pad with some wax (put a squidge on and sqweeze it around so the pad's slightly lubricated) then put a SMALL amount of NXT on and spread it around. It should go on much easier...:xyxthumbs

BTW I also use the 'smear free test' to know when it's ready to come off - stroke the waxed paint with your finger, and if it comes right off then it's ready to buff; if it streaks it needs a little longer.

Hey Scott! Why yes I am..:) I already have some VM. I'll remember that when I'm out. I'll still have to go check out that store though. I've never heard of it! What do you think about EX and NXT together? What order would I use them? I'm still a little hesitant about using any kind of compound on the paint since its SO new. Is there any way I could use those two together? I would think NXT over EX? Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Thanks!

Actually, since NXT has light cleaners you would use EX over it. You would only need to use a compound if the paint actually needs it.

HYPER-formance is a speed shop actually inside Six Flags Mall near the Cinemark theater and food court. Pretty good prices on Clearkote and they have a lot of mostly cosmetic parts although they do sell some hardcore speed equipment as well, but they don't do installation.
