Hello everyone. So, I was so excited to try Optimum Poliseal. I have used the product on a friend's BMW and it seemed to look great...If I ever get pics of this car, I'll certainly post them up as I think the car came out looking gorgeous. Nevertheless, my car's last wax was probably in December...it was my third layer of Collinite 476S wax at the time. The car was with my Dad for a while, meaning inproper cleaning and so forth. Nevertheless, on Easter, I decided to wash the car with ONR, and then I decided to simply hit the paint with Poli-seal, meaning no clay barring (because I was simply too busy to do the full effort). I applied the product with a PC and blue edge 2000 pad. No problems and I was very happy with the results as it seemed to have cut the clearcoat nicely for super-fine swirl removal. Nevertheless, it rained recently in the area multiple times...I even drove in heavy rain on the highway. First of all, the rain doesn't seem to sling off the windshield like aio. It slings off, but not to the same effect as aio. I've had bonding issues with the windshield and all sorts of products, so this isn't the big issue. More importantly, the product does not seem to bead well at all. It seems that I have no more protection on the vehicle! I will post detailed pics and water beading pictures soon, but my question is, could it be that since I did not clay bar the vehicle, that the Poli-seal is having some bonding issues with the paint?
