Hi all,
I finally got a PC after years of hand induced swirl marks due to a variety of bad habits on my part.
Anyway, it's new car time for both myself and the wife this year, and I'd like to do things right from the start.
Upon taking delivery, I'm planning the following regimen:
1)Clay
2)Pinnacle finishing polish
3)Zaino Z2 w/ZFX (I've used Zaino previously and like that it lasts a few months longer than carnuba).
Since the car will be new, I don't particularly want to screw up, so I figured I'd run this by everyone. I would imagine I'll apply the finishing polish with a white polishing pad, and the Z2 with a gray finishing pad (?).
The above is basically assuming the car won't have any minor swirls, etc. If it does, would it be best to see if they come out with the finishing polish? If not, what would be the best way to go?
Thanks for the help. I'm overwhelmed with product choice/descriptions... glaze/polish/compound/wax/sealant... it all starts to get a little hazy (forgive the pun).
Cheers,
-Grant
