New website, need feedback please.

Skimmed through real quick...

The link says "Home" because that is what your page title is.

What is the difference between paint correction and high speed buffing? When I see/ hear high speed buffing I think volume shop, low quality.

About Me- take out all the underline.

What is your target market?

Looks good, though when I saw high end automotive detailing, I generally wouldn't expect to see minitrucks on the banner... not that there is anything wrong with them....but it's not the same mental image I have.

Dan, in this town when you say "buffing" people think $25 buffer from walmart. If you say "high speed buffing" they know your talking about a high end buffer that gets results. Its a small town...

Dan, Ive done mostly car lots for the past 7 years, but Im moving into a new shop at the first of the year and will be pushing for more private work. I do have loyal private customers and I get most of my new private business from thier word of mouth.

I like to use Compounding and Polishing or High-Speed or Dual-Action Compounding and Polishing instead of "buffing". It may be just me, but I think buffing sounds unprofessional.

The site is coming along great! Like others said, I would change the pics on the banner. As far as the flow of your pages, I personally like it when the Contact page is the last one (furthest to the right).

Keep at it, it'll turn out great.

I think you need a new logo, it conveys a car washer to me. Get a shot of you polishing a car or something along those lines.

Most of your pics in your gallery have very distinct lighting differences between the before and the afters...conveys to me that you are trying to hide something. If you have a bunch of 50/50 shots with halogens, or same lighting before and afters, I would use those instead.

Quite contrary to what people say, I prefer the darker backgrounds and equate those to more professional that white backgrounds....might just be me though

I want my logo to say what I do with out spelling out what I do, ya know. I live in a small town, theres no $200,000 cars riding around here so I dont need to be to fancy.

I take most of my pictures in sunlight, if I take the before pic at 10am and I don’t get done with the car till 3pm, the sun is in a different spot. That’s why the lighting looks different. I am not one to try and hide things in my picture. If I were hiding imperfections then my customers would see it when they picked their cars up and I would'nt have been in business very long. ;)

Although more than one person posts under this usename, the guy who currently is posting is the webmaster, and does SEO work for a day job. The #1 thing to remember is that if your website doesn't appear in the top 5 search results on google for the relevant keywords, *no one will ever see it*. Currently your site doesn't have enough content nor is it optimized in any way, which means...no one will ever see it. I would also reconsider the 'look and feel' of the website, depending on the clientele you are trying to attract. For a good basic overview of SEO, see here: SEO Tutorial

Looks like an iPage website to me. I really like them, and I used them to create mine as well. Looks good to me, I really like the slideshows. To me the slideshows really make a difference because so many potential customers classify "detailing" as a schlub behind a gas station washing cars, so the correction shots are really valuable.

I think you need more text. Its very sparse, and what you have is in large, bolded font so it just attempts to fill space. You have to be able to talk more about why you are the mack-daddy of detailing and people should bring you their cars. The reference page seems juvenile; make your own credit through your work. I have converted more viewers to customers incorporating an FAQ page which describes proper processes (w/out giving away techniques); so consider that for your reference page. I would move the service/pricing link closer to the beginning of the list. When i look at my google analytics, that information is what 57% of people want immediately. Why bury it at the end of the list? The slideshow took too long to start for me, I dunno, maybe i'm impatient, but your photos are breath-taking! WIW said it best your logo is not at all appealing to high-end, regardless of what your town's demographics are.
