What does a guy have to do to get some of this Adapt??? I am waiting but becoming impatient.

Dave:

Heard it was going to be the middle of July for this stuff to be realeased now I hear its going to be the end the July. Are you sure its not really going to be sometime after SEMA 2013???

I have never suggested a date. It's totally out of my hands/control and I realize that there is alot of stuff that has to go on behind the scenes before a product in listed officially for sale. Just look at HD TOTAL. That product has been ready for months, but minor issues keep pushing its release back. It's the nature of the business. As far as ADAPT, I promise you that they are very close to finalizing it. I just don't have an exact date right now, but I can assure you that it will be available way before SEMA. And that's not just ADAPT. That's the entire new HD product line.

Folks, this stuff is worth waiting for. Tunch is working very hard and it shows. As an outsider to 3D/HD it is obvious to me that he is very passionate about this project and doesn't want to just throw it out there without thorough testing.

This just might be worth the wait. I'll in touch with Francis. Thanks for the info Dave. Your still my hero.

Would love of this stuff would remove my need for D300 or such similiar "medium grade" compounds. Going to get at least 32 oz. when its released and give it a go!

Yes it would Mark. Once you figure out the right pad, this product is a very versatile and potent 1 step.

David--How does HD Adapt differ from UNO???

cuts similar but finishes down with little to zero holograms. Adapt wins bc it polishes out clearer. play with your pads to get the best results. one pad might give a tiny bit of holograms, the next pad will leave you with zero. soft clears can be tricky but again, play with your pads to get the best results. im one of the lucky ones.

is adapt even out yet? can't seem to find it on the online store yet...

i'd like to try it on my subaru paint! :)

It is not available to the public at this time. It's still being tested by a dozen detailers at this time.

Would love to have an update or possibly a release date. I'm seriously running low on compound but would love to try this before I make a big order. Doing an oxidized RV Friday so that will knock out a lot of what I have left. When will the new line be released?

I am assuming by next month they should have it available. I mean, that's what I want. ;)

is that your E class? wow that thing is gorgeous in blue. PM me pics :) lol

Anywho, is this compound going to be ok for fresh paint finishes?

UPDATE: HD ADAPT will not be officially released until SEMA. The final formulation has been selected though. Going to convince Tunch to have samples of ADAPT on hand to give out at their SEMA booth. Stop by and see them.

Prior to that, HD will be releasing their updated line of products. Look for that to occur within the next couple weeks. (fingers crossed). :)
