Hey guys how is everyone? Its been a while since I posted here. I know Im sorry, just really busy as of late. HD Adapt is an incredible product that should be in every detailers arsenal. I had been using this product for quite sometime now and love it. Its got just the right cut and just the right finish. The Adaptive Abrasives are absolutely amazing. Here below are some videos that I made a while back testing it out.

101 is expensive, and I have been picking up some dealership work lately and would be very interested in a product that can cut and finish in one.

Is 101 that much more significant cut than 105? I was going to order some FG400 to try out eventually but might try the 101 instead.

PM coming your way.

You'd also be well served to check out M100 if cost is an issue; it too blows 105 out of the water IMO.

Barry I need to send you a Meguiar's Sanding Pad:D

But seriously when will this be out?

Thanks to everyone for showing interest in this great new product! At this time final production has been slightly pushed back. HD is in the process of finalizing an entire line of products and wants to release HD ADAPT with the rest. I also think Tunch is putting some additional tweaks to the formulation to make it an even great product.

What exactly is HD Adapt? Great question actually and it deserves some explanation beside my OP. It's (in a sense) an all purpose polishing compound that can be used to cut and polish virtually any polishable surface. It not only works great on paint, but also PPF, gelcoat, plastic, alluminum and/or wood. Due to it's versatility, this product will not only just be marketed to the auto detailing industry. I'll be sure to update everyone as developments take place. May also try and put up a give away opportunity to a few random testers prior to it's final release.

We currently have approximately 12 testers experimenting with HD ADAPT. Most have given excellent reviews. I am not willing to disclose who these people are, but I can assure you that they are top tier individuals who's opinion really matters. If any of the testers would like to step up and give their unadulterated opinion on the product, please feel free.

Melbourne red M3 HD adapt rupes 21 Meg's cutting mf. I split up half the trunk into two sections. One "pass" per section. Approx 90 seconds on each section. Slow steady pressure. Straight IPA wipe x5.

i wanted to see what HDA could do for the stained black trim on this white M5. i had a little left at this point, just enough for the trims =( i did do a piece of the pillar with the makita & blue 4" BS pads. i got a little holograms but they were cleaned up with a black BS pad & some 3MUF. i would say the best way to tackle these stains next time would be with the griots small polisher & a black BS pad for the pillars, then use your hands for the skinny parts. i was able to get similar results by hand. with the rotary it came out quicker but by hand was almost as good. it did take a few tries by hand but they looked great.

*note, although the little griots looks like a tasty tool, i still am only using either the dewalt or makita rotary polishers. my reviews are all through a rotaryman's experience! =)

Nice videos Bryan - I embedded the links so they can show in this thread.

I think Tunch is zeroing in on a final production sample. We'll know very soon if all goes as planned.

By the sound of the preview, it appears to be like an improved HD UNO isnt ? I will be honest, I hated that compound. so much, I gave it away.

However, I received a free bottle of hd polish a while back and liked the stuff so much I bought 2 gallons and used it on this Bugatti Veyron ( in this thread, I used menzerna but I re-did the car just didn't had the time to post it)

if you would like a send me a sample/bottle of this stuff, I will gladly test it and see if it's anything like the HD UNO or more toward my loved hd polish.

Please contact me throught pm in facebook for quicker answer. thank you!

edit: I tried hd uno not hd cut.

Off topic but, how do you like the 5" BP combo on the Rupes 21 Bryan?

I have the exact fit 5" backing plate from Kevin brown at buffdaddy.com serious cutting power w that combo.

I'm patiently waiting. I'm trying to cut down on my polishes. I'm hoping HD Cut, Adapt, and Polish will be the ONLY polishes I need.
