Hello from England, and here is my 1st post on Autopia...
I bought a one owner from new BMW 320i the other week. Very well looked after but it needed the treatment.
1. I kicked off with Autoglym shampoo (I don't recommend it!)
2. I used Poorboy's SSR2 and a variable speed Silverline mop - the paint was slightly oxidised and this brought the shine back a treat. It only needed low rpm and a soft foam pad.
3. Meguiar's Quick Clay, doing one section at a time, two applications on each panel left paint feeling like glass.
4. Followed by two coats of P21-S Carnauba Wax.
For a white car the shine is great but from the above is there anything I'm doing wrong?
Scuttle panels are prone to going crusty on E30s, not on this one though
So are boot floors...
And tailgates...
Trim puts the 'm' in mint...
