I don't really mean a pad with cut (in-and-of itself), just one that's more aggressive than a "zero cut finishing pad"; somethat that lets the M205 behave more aggressively. Subtle diff perhaps, but still..

gmblack3a- Thanks for the response. Yeah, the cross-cuts on the Meg's pads sorta put me off too (just a knee-jerk response, I too prefer conventional flat pads for all my DA/RO work) so I left my freebie one in the baggie.
Ive been using one pad to do an entire car(waiting on more pads). I just wash it and spin dry it and squeeze it onto a towel. I have been getting results im happy with but is this not recommended? How many pads on average do u guys use to finish a medium size car (bmw 5 series)? Thanks in advance!:thx Kevin Brown, you da man!

bjungx007- If what you're doing works OK for you, then that's what counts.
In my case, using fresh/clean and dry pads with M105 gives better cut with less residual micromarring.
With M205, I get better cut and a clearer finish.
Yeah, I've washed out pads and reused them without drying them 100%, but it just didn't work as well.
To do a 5-series I'd probably use [you don't want to know how many!!] pads with M105 and maybe, oh I dunno...at least four-six with M205. I used more than that on my M3 though.
But then there are a whole lotta variables (which pad, how damp/dry) and I wouldn't worry if you're satisfied. It's *your* satisfaction with the end-result that matters IMO.
454Casull- No, but there's a very good Cliff's Notes version around here somewhere that pretty much covers everything you need to know to employ the method.
