Any comments are recommended.. Thanks

I like the simplicity of the third one. It looks easy on the eyes and looks very professional...Andrew

I like the second, However, the second design does not tell the reader the services you provide. While it may seem obvious to us, don't assume the average joe understands. Do you shine floors, boats planes??

The third design text is more direct and clear.

The best design will be using the logo/colors of the second with the text of the third.

The first isnt good, the second one looks OK, but the third one is stunning. It is very simple, classy, and gets the point accross very well. I say stick to the third one.:xyxthumbs

Take this FWIW, but I deal with client logos on a daily basis, printing them on a variety of products, and have been in business for over 10 years.

With computers, it's extremely easy to design your own logo and have something that looks sharp on the computer. Sometimes, these designs don't translate well to other mediums / printing, etc. If you're going to design your own logo, take a look at how it would look in one color, what can be done on signage, yellow page ad, embroidery, etc. You need to look into the future a little and think about what else you will be using it on. Often, you can have something really spectacular for a website or business card, that can be distilled down for other uses and still convey the same look. Having continuity is as important as the initial 'wow' factor.

I have had to tell clinets 'I can't print that logo' many times. Both self designed logos and logos done by professional artists. Just keep these things in mind when you're doing designs and it will make things easier in the long run, give you continuity, and allow your advertising to make the right impression where ever it is used!

The third one is more informative and looks very professional. The wording tells the reader what your business is and what you offer in a simple manner. I vote #3. :xyxthumbs

Logo #2 but with "Automotive Detailing Specialists" below it. On your 3rd logo, Specialists isn't plural thus sounding like a one man operation. By making it plural it makes it sounds larger & more credible in my humble little opinion.

Thanks for all the replies. Im glad that you all take my option with the first one. The only problem with the second design is that I have found out there is another business in Melbourne with the same sort of design.

I am targeting to the highest neiche of clients possible. I have another business, (COnvenience CAr WAsh) that caters for the people who want to pre sale prep and car washing services. I also cater for existing clients who want detailing work done.

This company however will be strictly high end vehicles, autopian style, charging top dollar. Although I dont believe in the paint protection scams there is a big demand for it in my area. I will endevour to educate clients, rather than rip them off. I think Klasse will be my once a year protection that people think will protect their car's from dirt, bird dropping, acid rain, contamination.

I was working on a car for a new client and mentioned it could to with a wax/sealant. This was a BMW 330 01 I think. She said to me that I doesnt need anything on the paint because the car is still new...:nixweiss

Thanks all

Regards

Just MHO, but as a graphic designer, I recommend the third one. #2 is more immediately eye-catching, but #3 has an understated sophistication that the other two do not. While you might argue that immediate impact is more important in a business card, I would advocate the long-term elegance of #3.

Kompressornsc brings up some good points about getting a design from computer screen to other media. As a practical consideration, I believe that #3 will more easily reduce to fewer colors and work better in lower-resolution situations (newpaper ads, as just one example).

In truth, none of them are bad, but #3 is the strongest. Good luck! :xyxthumbs
