I finished painting my hood and spoiler about 2 months ago, and now I'm ready to wetsand and buff them as there is a good bit of orangepeel in the paint...
It has 3 coats of clear, that way we could safely remove an entire coat during the sanding process and still be safe.
Its rather contoured in a few areas, and just wondering what tips you guys might have...
I'm going to be finishing down with 3000 grit. But what should I do around the contours to ensure a straight true finish?
Also, I'll be finishing it with UC and a PorterCable with an Orange LC Pad, then moving on to a White LC Pad with SwirlX, then probably some good glaze with the Blue LC Pad, then throwing some Tech 2.0 on there with a blue pad as well...
Does this sound like an alright plan of action?
Also, I'm about to post a few pics as well...
Thanks
