First off, I want to get a wax that's easier to get off than the Collinite 476S I've been using. I was going to get some 845 Insulator wax, but was wondering if the S100 was a better wax. I'm learning from you guys, right now I only use 3M Perfect It Swirl Mark Remover as prep for waxing (any recommendations here would help too).
Secondly, I was determined to do nothing to my dash as far as protectant. I hate the shine that often results and felt that, since you can't 'feed' vinyl (it's my understanding that it is a non-porous/ nonbreathable material, so whatever you put on it simply rests on the surface), hassling with detailing the dash wasn't worth it simply for the UV protection. Maybe I'm wrong, so, since the 303 Protectant I just picked up for my tires seems to be as low-gloss as possible, how would this be for my dash (applied with a damp sponge to further reduce the chance of glare?).
Lastly (thanks for hanging in there), what, other than the small bits of 100% cotton, plush white towel pieces I use, should I use for applying waxes, etc? Thanks a lot.
