BlackElantraGT said:It is sensitive to temperature (to a degree) and one thing I was worried about was that it would be too hot during the summer (from absorbing body heat) but I've never had a problem with the bed feeling too hot to sleep on. I live in SoCal though so while it gets hot sometimes during summer nights, we don't really have an issue with it being humid. Your body heat will make the bed softer as you sleep through the night.
IMO, your weight might have a bigger impact on how the bed feels to you. For a really small person, I've been told it feels like a hard sack of flour in the beginning. I'm a bigger guy so for me, the first night I slept on a foam mattress, when I first laid down and closed my eyes, it felt like my body was rising and floating in mid-air. It was a good and different feeling from what I was used to with normal spring mattresses. For the first time in a long time, I woke up with no back pain. I don't think I can go back to regular mattresses again. Every time I sleep at a hotel now my back kills me when I wake up.
