Nasty weather

Craftsman 6.0 ShopVac.

Sad that I can get so excited over such a small thing isn't it. I got tired of having to goto the local carwash joint to vaccume it out with their low powered overpriced filth machines. This thing has some pull let me tell ya. If you aren't careful it'll suck the seats out on ya.

Highly recommend it to everyone.

Got one myself, one of those low-profile ones. I like it much better than my old 4.0hp Shop-Vac one. I don't need the Gore filter for the Craftsman either.

Got me a Rigid wet/dry vac. This thing is so powerful I just put it thru the window, duct tape around the opening walk away for 5 min. and the whole inside is cleaned out seats & everything.

:D

I like my big "sucker" but this one is my favorite. Smaller hoses make it easier to access areas and it has WAY more than enough power. The narrow width is a plus in tight spaces or between cars, too.

lol i want one of these! you think you could get the part number for me? :shocked

...Brad B., you have a 3.0 and a 5.0? If the 3.0 if more than enough power, why the 5.0? Or is this one of those Tim the Toolman Taylor things? :)

I know what I want for Father's Day. I have right now the older Craftsman wet/dry vac. The red and black one. I really like the low profile of the one you have Brad. How much did you pay for it? Can you find it at Sears?

Thanks & Aloha,

~Ranney

I got my Ridig 6.5 hp last Father's day at Home Depot. I use the blower attachment more than the vac. I highly recommend getting one where the blower detaches.

Currently, I have a 2.0 hp which does a reasonably decent job on my Maxima but eventually, I am going to have to get the big gun with a blower. :D

I just picked up a 3.0 HP Shop-Vac last night at Menard's myself....

its one of the "hang-up" series ones that mount on the wall and have an 18' hose. I figure it will be enough power and enough hose to do the car without having to move the vac all over the place - and this way it takes up no floor space.

:up

Shiny

I also have the Hang-Up Pro series vac, mine is 4.5 HP though. You will love it. The long hose it great, you can reach every place in the car without having to stop and move the vac with you as you go. :xyxthumbs

I know Chad Rasky and some others up north are experiencing some not so fun ice and snow :Frosty:
