Nasty weather

Another wonderful weekend in MN! Seems like every time I take on a car it snows and then they reschedule. :(


Looking at 12-14 more inches of snow by the time it's done and blizzard conditions with lots of drifting snow. Boo Hoo

On the + side you guys can make snow angels in fresh snow. The downside is grilling out in that weather is a real biach :scared:
 
Thats insane Chad. The deepest snow I've ever seen was probally about 8". Does your town just shut down completely or what. I don't see how in the world you can live under those kinda conditions. This is just plum crazy :out:

Not really Flash. You won't see to many cars out and about but lots of trucks will be driving around. I actually made up a reason to drive to the store so that my wife would let me take her car (AWD Acura RL). I love driving in the deep snow and it's almost like a challenge. It was pretty funny seeing a Prius stuck in the snow though! :D


Updated pics....still coming down. We were at 13" a few hrs ago.

Had to dig an area out for the dog :)

21" isn't too bad. I had a storm back in '97 that dumped 3 feet in 24 hours up in MA. That royally sucked as it was predicted to be 3-6 inches for the area.
 
I hate winter also. The older I get the more I hate it.

Just about ever morning last week was 6 to 10 degrees with one morning at -2 degrees. Yesterday it actually got up to 33 degrees. My wife said we are having a heat wave. A nice toasty 23 degrees this morning.

Does ONR freeze to your car also?
 
Pretty bad weather in Buffalo, NY right now. Woke up at 9 today (I have the day off), saw that the streets were a mess and rushed to eat and shower so I could go out and partake in some snow hoonage :tongue:. RWD and Blizzaks FTW!

Had a good time for about a half an hour (staying clear of roads with cars), then decided to quit and head home after a little too much power on oversteer got me completely sideways turning into an unplowed (and thankfully empty) street. Ate my humble pie after that little mishap.

Here is a crappy pic from inside my house, it's really hard to tell where the street even is.
