Speed Shine -- Griot's carnauba based QD spray. I absolutely love this stuff. It's $9.99 for 35 ounces. It is super slick, has great cleaning ability, and refuses to streak over carnuabas. I have not tried it over sealants, as it does have a small (<1%) carnauba content so I prefer to keep it with the waxed surfaces of the GTO. It has a pleasant smell, and I feel it doesn't add too much bling, or take any away, from the surface. It doesn't have any alcohol content either. I think this is a real winner.
Car Wash -- This stuff is really nice, too. It's super slick, creates lots of suds, has great cleaning action, and most importantly, is quite gentle on the LSP, even carnaubas. It is one of my very favorites, along with SS&S and NXT (which I only use over a durable sealant).
Long Lasting Tire Dressing -- This stuff has held up great for me on the work truck. It lasts a few washes, and you decide the shine, satin or sheen. It's a thick liquid that makes application a breeze, and it does not sling off. It's a very nice tire dressing, but prbobably not quite good enough to beat out Z-16 which is still my favorite, although Griot's is much easier to work with than my older, runny Z-16.
Interior Cleaner -- A no frills, no scent added, clear APC for interior surfaces. I use it on the dash, to clean leather seats prior to conditioning, and for cleaning carpets. I like it better than some other APC's because it has zero fragrance, none of the strong chemical/solvent smell some of the APC's I've tried have. Another product I really like.
Vinyl & Rubber Dressing -- This stuff is ridiculously priced, but I got an 8 ounce bottle (for $10) to try out. I'm using it on the dash of my work truck which sits outside 24/7. I've had it on there for three weeks now and there has been no visible deterioration or fade of the nice gloss it gives. It seems to be a very nice product, but I refuse to pay that much for something that is probably no better than 303, a very similar product. I prefer Poorboy's NL for my interiors.
Best of Show Wax -- I'm kind of torn on this one. It leaves a very nice, super clear finish and makes my black motorcycle look, well, VERY black. It has a sealant-esque look to it, but also has some fillers in it that really help out on darker colors. It has a pleasant scent (can't put my finger on it... almost peanut butter???). However, for most people, the application/removal of this wax will probably turn them off of it. It's hard to apply as it starts setting up very quickly, creating a very hard barrier that makes the applicator snag on. Same goes for wiping it off. Since it dries so hard, it is a pain to wipe off, UNLESS you spritz each panel with a small amount of either distilled water, or I have been using Speed Shine. This makes the BoS wipe off rather easily. I have a feeling it's going to be a pretty durable wax, although others have disagreed.
Under Carriage Spray -- This is another very nice product for wheel wells of larger SUVs and trucks. It can make a mess on the driveway, but other than that, it's nice and durable and doesn't attract dust.
Leather Care -- This is another product that I won't be ordering more of. It has some cleaners in it which is nice, but it always leaves a sticky/tacky feeling to my leather that drives me crazy, no matter how hard I buff dry after application. I like Z-10 and Sonus a lot better.
Spray on Wax -- This is a nice product that I can't quite compare with any other product. It's not really a QD as it doesn't have much cleaning ability, and it's definitely not an LSP as it doesn't last more than a couple of washes. It's a base wax enhancer, like UPPS is to UPP. It was designed to be used over their new Paint Sealant, but I have been using it while drying and it adds some nice slickness and gloss. I really like it, but it's a bit expensive for extensive use at ~$13 for 35 ounces. Too bad because I would probably continue using it as it wipes clean very easily with no streaks.
Not detailing related, but their Hand Cleaner is awesome. It's gritty, and leaves your hands really soft and smells like oranges. Yeah I'm kind of a sissy :getdown
Anyways, I have been using GG products a lot lately and thought I'd share my thoughts in case anyone was interested. They have some really nice products, and some really overpriced ones, too. I will always have some Speed Shine and Car Wash on hand, plus the Hand Cleaner for those post-oil change hand cleanings.
Other misc. items that I thought were really neat were their Blue Detail Sponges for applying tire/trim dressing without getting your hands dirty, and the mini red wax pad with elastic strap on the holder... this is awesome for waxing my motorcycle, and around pillars/trim/license plate on my cars.
