My ideal detailing shoe, whats yours?

I love to work in running shoes. I actually need to replace my go-to pair right now. As mentioned, they're made to move around in - and that's perfect for me. When detailing, I'm either moving around, sitting, kneeling, or laying down AKA moving around or not really on my feet.

I am interested in these funky looking shock-shoes you guys have mentioned now though...

They are called Vibrams "Five Fingers". They are very popular in the "barefoot running" crowd.

Running shoes fan. Could not stand the pressure from using just flip flops. Was thinking to use them work shoes (like Bob & Dave) but not quite sure how they feel on me.

They are awesome and more and more models are coming out all the time, with the increase in barefoot running.

I like Saucony Running shoes because they are soft, pliable and they "breathe"! You can also throw them in the washer!:cornut:

If you are talking about the Vibrams, citysports.com has them or sometimes your local running store will have them. They are pretty specialized shoes, so I would suggest getting them online, even local running stores have a tough time getting them in stock, in the right colors and the right size. Or, get on their website, birthdayshoes.com and there is a link to all the retailers.

I got mine the day they came out, these are the first running specific Vibram Five Fingers and I couldn't wait!! :clap:

I wear steel toe Terra workboots that I wore while working for my dad's construction company. You'd argue that they are big and heavy, but they are the only thing I find comfortable. Standing in these I'm about 6'6 so it helps the reach a bit. They are also goretex so they are waterproof but don't get at all hot in the summer. Trick is to not lace them very tight.

Barefoot and a thong ?!
Sun glasses too?:tongue::Dancing Dot:

No underwear. To much going on down there. I don't like the idea of a restraining system for my junk :-t

While someone with a username like "detailchick" might be appropriately attired in a thong I don't have to know a thing about Flash Gordon for that thought to send me poking out my mind's eye with a sharp stick! :scared:

Pass that stick this way when your done. Picturing myself in a thong makes me vomit in my mouth just a lil bit :-B

Im sorry fella's for disturbing your minds :tongue:

I would delete my post but its been copied twice already.

thats what you get for messin with me Flash! :devil:

ps. keep some spare safety pins in case your zipper breaks :D
