Just to lay the foundation, I am a driveway detailer, only doing my own cars and friends and family. Yesterday I gave my wife's 2006 Accord (Alibaster Silver Metalic) a deep down spring cleaning. I washed with Megs Gold Class, clayed with Megs clay and polished using a 50/50 mix of IP and FP with a PC. I like the mix because it finishes down perfect and it doesnt dust as bad as IP by itself. I purchased my first bottle of FMJ pretty much because of the praise it always received on this forum and others. I applied the FMJ using a red LC pad on my PC. It went on so thin and evenly, and came off rediculously easy. I LOVE this stuff! And if your familiar with the Accords there are two black plastic pillar panels between the front and back door (one on the front door and one on the back door), FMJ finished these back to a beautiful matte finish again. I couldnt be happier with this product. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) it started raining as soon as I finished so I put it in the garage just in time, but I didnt get to take pics. I highly recommend this product as most others do as well. :notworthy:
How long should I wait to put the second coat on with a synthetic like FMJ?
