Because in the US you are not allowed a fuel tank under the car behind the rear axel. The US models have the tank in the trunk which takes up loads of space. Because of this different tank location, the filler position had to be changed.BlackSunshine said:I wonder why the Monaro's gas cap is lower than the GTO's?
