Modded out 2000 Toyota Celica GTS

lambo doors = rice

Wow, I must have not seen enough "ricers" in my lifetime to justify that comment. I usually associate them with fartpipes, blue headlights, and HUGE aluminum spoilers. (most common in my parts anyhow)

The detail did turn out great with such as interesting process. Modded cars always spice up the click and brags from your routine luxury vehicles.

While this isn't my favorite looking Celica of all time, I've definitely seen much much worse as far as "rice" is concerned. Outside of the wheels the car is pretty well done. Veilside makes quality parts, and I wouldn't call them a "sub par" addition. What someone chooses to spend their money on, no matter their maturity level, is up to them. If the owner is entering it into competitions, modifications like these score points. And having a nice detail job, as it does have, helps too. I find it pretty hilarious that everyone on here needs to trash this car to make themselves feel better.

Oh yea, and as one other post stated, they most definitely did make the GT-S with a 4 speed "sport shift" automatic that completely killed any performance the 2ZZ-GE engine had.

Come on guys, we're not here to bash on other's vehicles. We're all grown ups here... for the most part (I'm 22).

Nice job on the detail. Paint looks really wet!

Looks great, I love ricee.

In fact my car runs on Premium Rice Only :)

With your LSD kit, have you have in issue with it??

Well at least it doesnt have stickers on.

I dont like wite cars that much, I mean, its not I dont like them, but detailing em seems a waste of time. I've seen little to no difference on a detailed white car vs a semi-detailed white.

I didn't even notice it was an old thread! :wow:

Regardless, I find it funny how all the rude comments are from people that I've never seen posting on the forums. A little respect comes a long way. It surprises me how people can be so rude. "Just joking" is not an excuse for these type of comments. It doesn't hurt to think a little before opening our mouths.

Maybe I see the "big picture" because I'm in the hospitality industry.

Mmmm, looks like I'm the only one who does not have more posts than you and/or an earlier join date. Maybe you just hadn't been watching who was posting before today?

I can't believe this thread has come back from the dead to prompt this many pages of responses. It's clear that this car continues to polarize the Autopia community! I still have a hard time believing that that is anyone's dad's car...
