Modded out 2000 Toyota Celica GTS

Nice detail, the car is too overdone for my tastes also. As Johnny says as long as your Dad is happy that's the main thing. I am surprised you would have done PwC, P21s and then EX? Why not just use the two carnauba waxes and leave it at that?

A guy shows you a great detailing job and you tell him the car is ugly. Why you want to do that. No manners???

Most of us love detailing because we love cars. It's hard to discuss the condition of the paint without noticing the vehicle. Nobody complains when the topic goes way off on how wonderful a car is...what's the difference?

We could use some before pictures, but the results do look terrific. People can't handle negative criticism anymore, which is why people get so upset about comments made for someone else's car.

Looks pretty good, I just don't understand why you would layer a carnuaba then top it with a sealant?

First and for most, thank you to everyone with nice comments and compliments on the detail. The people with the neggative comments, that's cool with me. I don't care to tell the truth. Is kinda rude in my opinon though so thanks for everyone that backed me. To answer JohnnyDaJackal's question, the main reason I tried it "backwards", that's basically what it is, I was just experimenting with products and thought I would see what look it gave the car. Came out nice IMHP, made the paint really glow after that.

The grouding kit would look better if it was a little more discreet. You should be hiding those wires not draping them across the engine bay, but then again I don't like the car so I guess that's just my opinion. Good job on the detail.

you see that often here. I dont care if i like it or not. I do however care and certainly appreciate the time and work involved in building any type of custom. Personally, I like the Lambo doors. That shot with the doors open looks great. We are here to teach, learn and discuss car care products and see others work. Not ridicule the car the detail was performed on. GRAMMMA TAUGHT ME THAT IF YOU CANT SAY SOMETHING NICE, DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!

you can only make the paint look good but then its up to the owner to make the car look good. ex- take off the ugly *** body kit and SUV lexani rims. and i wouldnt call appearance modded cars true 'modded cars'. good work on the paint though
