I can't figure out what he is doing here:

Nor do I think someone looking for a detailer on craigslist has high expectations anyway. Can't imagine they'd call us and spend $750 to fix a detail they were only willing to spend $89 on. :lol

Honestly, if you respond to that ad, you deserve what you get.
 
Some of you can probably imagine having customers call you on a quote, only to be surprised by what you charge for a detail. Bottom line is there's customers for these "detailers". Some individuals are not willing to pay more than what these knuckleheads charge.

:werd: That's by far one of my biggest pet peeves, and even some proper detailers get it wrong. All they have to do is look at the damn label on the bottle!
 
Looks like that first guy landed that "elusive" turtle wax sponsorship I heard about. Dammit, what do I do now?
 
Hopefully you are not actually troubled by these guys because I know well how much hassle competition like this can cause! Not only do people start questioning your pricing but half the time the half assed job leaves customers believing that detailling is not worth the hassle. We even get it in the chemical manufacturing side - people sell cheap crap products and all of a sudden it doesn't matter that your product dilutes 5x further, the customers expect to pay the peanuts price!
 
It's getting out of control, people don't give a crap about quality anymore... PRICE PRICE PRICE!!!! People are going to CVS instead of a real doctor! How's that for perspective....
