Pressure GENERALLY will increase cut. To some degree, it plays a role. Even pressure is best. With a microfiber pad, the idea is that the fiber hairs are helping you level and round out the defects. In this case, too much pressure will flatten the hairs and will reduce the amount of cut. So too much pressure is not good. I would say nothing more than you would normally apply with a foam pad. Also remember to fluff up the hairs and clean the pad with every pass.
