Hello All,
What would be the preferred method of attack on non-clearcoated finishes.
From what i've researched, it is suggested to use a cleaner like DACP or SFP to remove the oxidation. What would be preferred after the cleaner? Is there a non-clearcoat polish and wax that is preferred? Would VM/CMW combo be OK? How about VM/S100 combo? I can use Z-3 but i'm looking for other suggestions.
I will be doing my cousin's '68 Mustang convertible in a couple of weeks and i'm pretty sure it doesn't have a good clearcoat on it. The paint is in decent shape and doesn't look oxidized, just doesn't have a good clearcoat.
Thanks in advance.
Erik
