Menzerna Power Lock

banzaitoyota suggested charliesoap to clean MF Towels. Well, I went to the site, ordered Wonder Wash and Charliesoap and tried the Wonderwash today. It works as advertised, no dyes, softeners, perfumes, etc and the MF towels came out softer than using Dawn or All Free Clear. We also used it on clothes in a separate wash and they also came out softer and fluffier. It is worth a try autopians and another plus is that Charlie will send product and bill you- that's right, no up front payment and if you don't like it don't pay for it! These days it is hard to find a business that uses the "honor" system but Charlie does. BTW, I sent my payment since the Wonder Wash works great, I will try the Charlie soap next week. The Charliesoap smells like Spot Shot which I have used to remove carpet stains.Apparently, TRD and other racing outfits use the products to remove grease, etc. definitely worth a look-see autopians...

BW,

Let me know what you think of the soap when you get it. More opinions are always welcome here:)

I heard about this stuff on some show on speedvision or such about cars and the show was made in Can. Looked neat but have not tried it yet.

Maybe time to spend money again...???

I saw the guy on Dream Car Garage talk about the stuff and was totally curious about it. Now I know where to get it.

Imagine adding it along with Simple Green and say Dreft. With a final rinse with only vinegar. Talk about clean towels;).

I never thought of that my white Maltese aint so white anymore....She kinda has stains and swirls LOL

I gotta go check this stuff out...Does he sell to retail stores??? I would love to feel and smell the stuff first.

To my nose, the Charliesoap and Wonder Wash smell kinda nasty but they work really well. Order some and try it out. If you don't like it, Charlie won't make you pay.;)

I ordered a bottle of Charlie's Soap and a bottle of Wonder Wash based on the comments here. I received them yesterday.

So far I've only used the Soap. It comes in a 500 ml spray bottle with a variety of uses and info printed on the bottle.

At full strength the Soap is quite powerful stuff. I've used it around the house to clean kitchens and bathrooms. It does leave a residue behind which tells me it really needs to be diluted with water in some ratio to make it more house-friendly. I found that I needed to reclean the area I used the Soap on to remove the residue. Personally, this isn't a big deal to me. I prefer the effectiveness of the soap and will experiment with dilution ratios until I find one that works.

I have to say it's the best household-type cleaner I've ever used. Charile's Soap puts Formula 409 on the trailer. Highly recommended.:up :up

bretfraz,

We also used the charliesoap to clean the floors. We just sprayed it on the floor and used a mop with a bucket full of water to wipe it off. No residue and it doesn't smell as bad as ammonia, which my wife hates. It cleaned well and did not leave the surfaces sticky, it also cleaned the stovetop better that 409. I don't think I would use it on my car, unless it was under the hood but the Wonderwash is really good for cleaning MF's and Charismas. Try it out.

I've used Menzerna Power Lock several times and I really like the way the product lays down and how it looks once buffed.

I applied it using my PC polisher and a red Lake Country pad at a speed of 3. I worked the product back and fourth until it was pretty much transparent. Once it dried to a haze it easily buffed off to a nice gloss.

I let the product sit overnight then applied a coat of Collinite 845 for added protection and improved gloss.

Yes, I had and it was a easy to layer on my hood ( almost like BFWD but BFWD was even easier ) , the durability was about 7-8 weeks on my hood on my Mazda here in 24/7 outside Florida weather which I'm located about 2 miles from the gulf.

I have never used it, but if it's good enough for Dave at Street Dreams and Bob at Auto Concierge, it's good enough for me.

Is that considered good durability for you?
I live across the Gulf from Angelo and our weather conditions are almost identical. That's great durability in my opinion. I've used FK's sealant before and was only able to get three weeks worth of durability here in S. Texas.
